JENNIFER NEMECEK

PRESIDENT AND PRIMARY CONSULTANT

 

For the past 27 years, Jennifer has worked in university administration at Georgetown University, Brandeis University, University of Notre Dame and the University of Michigan including 15 years as an Assistant Dean at both Notre Dame and Brandeis.

​

The most rewarding position Jennifer held was serving as an Assistant Dean for Pre-health students at the University of Notre Dame for 10 years. Jennifer served as the major advisor for all arts and letters pre-health majors, advised students on course selection, wrote comprehensive university committee letters to medical schools, advised students on medical school selection, and advised students on how to make their talents shine on the AMCAS/AACOMAS/TMDSAS application. Her time as a dean inspired the creation of Newport Premedical Consulting.

Over the course of her career, she has visited over 27 medical schools both in the US and abroad and conducted university business in over 35 countries. She has lived abroad in three countries and has published on the topic of how medical schools view foreign coursework. 

​

Jennifer has advised more than a thousand premedical students. She will help you navigate the competitive medical school application process with clear directions, supportive guidance, a student-centered approach and a keen eye for editing.

  • International Admissions Liaison at University of Notre Dame for 5 years managing recruitment in Europe (position located in Paris and Stuttgart)
