So long, Hippocrates. Medical students choose their own oaths

Interesting article about modernizing the oath medical students take during their white coat ceremony. Interesting fact, only 11% of US and Canadian medical schools use the Hippocratic oath. Many schools use one of the following oaths Hippocrates’s, Lasagna’s, or the Declaration of Geneva. Others are tailoring it to their mission and values as an institution or you can be Harvard where each student writes TWO oaths...one for the white coat ceremony and one at graduation.
